Excel Recruitment is partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in Naas, Co. Kildare, to recruit a Fully Qualified Accountant for a permanent part-time position.
Our client provides accounting, taxation and advisory services to a broad portfolio of SME clients. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands-on client work and values flexibility and work-life balance.
The Role
You will manage a small portfolio of SME clients and play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of accounting and compliance services, including:
1. Preparation of annual and management accounts for SME clients
2. Preparation and submission of Revenue returns (VAT, RCT, Payroll, Corporation Tax & Income Tax)
3. Acting as a point of contact for client queries and Revenue correspondence
4. Supporting clients with Income Tax filing deadlines and general compliance matters
5. Liaising with tax colleagues to ensure accurate and timely filings
6. Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
About You
7. Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent)
8. Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice, working with SME clients
9. Strong working knowledge of Irish tax and Revenue compliance
10. Experience using Sage and BrightPay
11. Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
12. High attention to detail with a practical, client-focused approach
13. Full working rights in Ireland (visa sponsorship not available)
