Posiition Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of Manufacturing Process and filling equipment Grifols Maintenance department in the Grangecastle Manufacturing Facility.
Please note - This is a shift position.
The shift cycle may change depending on business needs and any change in shift cycle will be communicated in advance in compliance with company policies
What You Will Be Doing
As Maintenance Technician your job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Record all day to day activities and assist the maintenance supervisor to complete the daily shift report
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Process, filling, utilities, HVAC and all associated equipment within the facility, and record all corrective maintenance to the required standard to ensure the department is audit ready .
Completion of FMEA studies for Process, filling, utilities, HVAC and all associated equipment within the facility
Become familiar with Utilities equipment in the facility to help support when required
Liaise with any Contractors when required to perform outsourced tasks.
Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with company regulations.
Work with Grifols area owners' personnel as required to facilitate Maintenance activities, using SAP PM
Engage in Grifols CI (Continuous Improvement) program and initiate within the maintenance department a Safety Good Catch program
Cross train with the maintenance team in B101 packaging facility and be flexible to assist in maintenance works if required in the packaging facility during your shift .
Enter into the on call roster and perform on call duties as required .
Maintenance technicians are responsible for adhering to all Maintenance procedures completed on the Grifols training platform (GTP).
What You'll Bring?
3 years working experience in industry, preferably in aBiopharmaceutical or relevant GMP manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledgewith Reactor vessels,CIPs ,SIPs ,Ultrafiltration ,Pasteurisers ,Asepticfilling ,overwrapping ,visionsystems ,Autoclaves ,partswasherslaminar booths anadvantage .
Experience in HVAC, Purified water systems, Ozone and UV treatment, WFI generation and distribution systems, Steam boiler generation and distribution, Chemical dosing, water sample testing, Sodium hydroxide systems, Chilled water, refrigeration, cooling towers,waste watertreatment an advantage but not essential.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation
Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Willingness and Ability to developa proficiencyin engineering type-specific software programs and systems
Excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently.
Flexibility and willingness to work with Manager/Supervisor to ensure the job gets completed in a compliant manner.
