Job Summary

Support Workers are central to Praxis Care's mission of providing quality care to individuals.

Each Support Worker is part of a dedicated team that delivers high-quality, reliable support services.

About The Role

* Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans, including assistance with domestic or social skills.
* Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
* Work with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, effectively resolving situations arising from conflict or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques and language.
* Familiarize yourself with all administrative requirements of the service, ensuring relevant and important information is recorded and logged according to the service's reporting guidelines.
* Be fully aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service (including Health & Safety), ensuring attendance and participation in all related training.


Requirements of the Role

* Participate in the company appraisal and staff review process.
* Adhere to and model the company values, behaviours, and competencies at all times.
* Carry out all duties of the post in accordance with Praxis expectations, regulations, and policies.
* Be prepared to take on additional duties and responsibilities as required.
* Work the necessary hours to meet the needs of the service.
