Job Description
The Operational Leadership Executive will serve as the operational backbone of a leading global Health and Fitness Tech firm, ensuring cross-team alignment and driving day-to-day delivery. This role requires a strong leader with experience in senior operations, general management, or cross-functional leadership who can balance structure with agility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Coordinate department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support delivery of the product roadmap and operational projects, and introduce processes that improve efficiency, collaboration, and accountability.
* People & HR: Oversee recruitment pipelines, lead onboarding, training, and appraisals for new and existing staff, and support the development of performance frameworks.
* Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the operational link between founders and department heads, ensure insights from Customer Success inform Product and Engineering priorities, and keep tech, product, and content teams working in sync.
* Office & Resources: Oversee the smooth running of the office, including facilities, equipment, suppliers, and compliance, and contribute to building a positive culture through team events and office initiatives.
* Commercial & Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and contractors, support contract negotiations to ensure value for money, and work with Finance to track and manage operational budgets.
Requirements:
* 7+ years experience in senior operations, general management, or cross-functional leadership.
* Experience in digital, tech, media, or consumer subscription businesses.
* Proven track record of leading multiple teams or departments and ensuring delivery across different functions.
* Strong people manager who can coach, develop, and hold others accountable while maintaining a positive and collaborative culture.
* Comfortable working in a scale-up environment, bringing structure where it is needed while keeping things agile and flexible.
