**Senior Financial Analyst Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Fund Accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and signing off NAV calculations, serving as a subject matter expert on fund specific requirements, and leading the rollout of new system enhancements and procedures.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Co-coordinate and lead systems testing and procedures in the team
* Serve as the technical and subject matter expert on the team for all specific fund requirements
* Mentor individuals and peers during projects and assignments
* Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry and keep abreast of emerging industry trends
* Lead long-term strategy for the department
* Instill a client service culture among staff and ensure that all clients receive a quality service
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous fund accounting experience or relevant operational/accounting experience. A detailed knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting applications is preferred, along with the ability to implement interfaces with other systems.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience with vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters etc)
* Strong communication, first-class presentation, and internal/external client-servicing skills
* Demonstrates willingness to help others outside the team
* Good prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
* Demonstrate good knowledge of standards and procedures required for own tasks
* Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel
