Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Control Systems Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels, as well as general electrical maintenance and installation of Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) in local factories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review electrical schematics to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Assemble mechanical components of control panels, including steelwork, trunking, din rails, terminals, and relays on backplates.
* Layout and wire electrical components according to the provided schematics.
* Conduct thorough testing of control panels to ensure all wiring and components are functional and meet schematic requirements.
* Assist in client Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of control panels.
* Perform routine and reactive electrical maintenance at local factory sites.
* Identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
* Install and fit Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) systems at local facilities.
* Ensure the proper installation, configuration, and testing of UPS systems for reliable performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in control panel building, including wiring and mechanical assembly.
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to work with them effectively.
* Hands-on experience with electrical components such as relays, terminals, din rails, and trunking.
* Ability to troubleshoot and test control panels according to schematics.
* Familiarity with general electrical maintenance and ability to work on-site in factory environments.
* Experience in the supply, installation, and fitting of Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
