We have an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our supportive team in Portlaoise.
In this role you will be:
* Maintaining the purchase ledger
* Reviewing supplier statements and follow up on any discrepancies or queries with suppliers.
* Setting up new supplier accounts in the system.
* Preparing and processing supplier payment runs.
* Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
* Posting Journals + preparation of accounts
* Monthend process
* Cashflow management
What will help you to excel in this role:
* Experience in a finance support assistant/administrative role
* Sage 200 experience desirable – but not essential
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft programs including Excel
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small finance team
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Collaborative team player
* Flexibility around monthend to complete accounts in a timely manner
