Job Description: Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

Our recent acquisition by Kessler + Co brings enhanced manufacturing capabilities to complement our extensive experience and vehicle knowledge.
Due to continued expansion, Timoney has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer who will help shape the future of production. You’ll work cross‑functionally to enhance processes, support new product introductions and ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The position suits a proactive, detail‑oriented team player who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Providing Manufacturing Engineering support to both customers and suppliers.
Providing support to the Engineering and Production Teams in terms of planning and designing new processes in a manner that can be easily implemented.
Manufacturing of prototypes and validation of product within specification with a view to upscaling to full product runs.
Identifying and implementing improvements to equipment, processes and methods.
Identifying and driving improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve on‑time delivery.
Collaborating with various internal teams to ensure timely delivery of information and resolution of queries.
Validating and optimising manufacturing processes and managing vendors for equipment procurement.
Reviewing incoming and outgoing QA documentation to ensure components comply with company standards.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to Quality and EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Professional Skills / Knowledge

Third‑level relevant Engineering Degree.
0‑2 years experience.
Basic project management skills.
Genuine interest in Engineering.
Strong technical aptitude, ability to apply structured problem‑solving techniques and Lean Principles.
Proficient in the use of technical drawing software (SolidWorks).
Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with design engineering, production, quality and supply chain teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.Continuous improvement mindset with initiative to identify and implement changes.
