Cpl is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the insurance sector, for an Education Development Specialist in the Insurance Industry.
This is a permanent role based in Dublin 1, with a hybrid working model.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in designing, developing, and delivering educational content and programmes, particularly within the insurance, financial services, or professional education sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop learner-focused materials, including textbooks, microlearning, and study supports.
Manage educational projects in collaboration with authors, examiners, and lecturers.
Support learners through the assessment process, including exam preparation and result coordination.
Ensure compliance with academic standards and national qualification frameworks.
Gather feedback from students and members to improve learning content.
Analyse learner data to support course design and learner engagement.
Stay updated on academic and industry trends to inform team projects.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Monitor project timelines and budgets.
Represent the Institute at events and external meetings.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience creating or reviewing educational content, ideally in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to tools like Camtasia or Articulate.
A third-level qualification OR 5+ years in an education development role.
Professional insurance qualification (e.g.
APA, CIP) or interest in the insurance sector.
Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
