Teaching Fellow in Research Methods and Statistics
Job Description
We are inviting applications for a temporary part-time Teaching Fellow position in the area of Research Methods and Biostatistics within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.
Main Responsibilities
* Module Delivery: Deliver introductory research methods and basic statistics modules across the School through lectures, tutorials and/or workshops in undergraduate and graduate programmes in public health, sport science, medicine, and/or physiotherapy subjects.
* Assessment and Grading: Develop and implement assessment strategies and grade student work in accordance with the University's grading system.
Academic Life and Administration
* Academic Contribution: Participate actively in the academic life of the School, contribute to School administration, and engage in curriculum development and review.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in research methods and biostatistics, excellent teaching and communication skills, and experience in delivering academic programs.
This is a part-time position (0.5FTE) at a fixed salary of €41,284 per annum pro rata. The closing date for applications is 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on [insert date]. Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
