This role is critical in maintaining and advancing the facility's technical infrastructure to meet demanding client and operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the execution of large-scale cooling and power projects, from inception to completionCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones and quality standards are metOversee installation, commissioning, and integration of HVAC, electrical, and related building systemsMonitor and optimize building services to maximize uptime, efficiency, and sustainabilityDevelop and maintain project documentation, including plans, risk assessments, and progress reportsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to building servicesEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsSupport ongoing maintenance and upgrades of building systems post-projectKey RequirementsDegree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related disciplineProven experience managing large-scale cooling and power projects, ideally in data centers or critical infrastructureStrong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and backup systemsFamiliarity with Irish building codes, safety standards, and industry best practicesExcellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skillsAbility to work independently and lead cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesirableChartered Engineer status or working towards itExperience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and energy efficiency projectsData center industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Uptime Institute)BenefitsCompetitive salary and bonusPension and healthcareCareer progression opportunitiesExposure to cutting-edge data center technology and projectsApplication ProcessInterested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter detailing relevant experience.
