Temporary Supplies Officer (Grade B) Procurement Dept Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the delivery of the full Procurement Cycle for goods and services, including market consultation ensuring that the Business arrives at the Purchase to Pay (P2P) stage.
Apply a deep understanding of Public Procurement processes and regulations, and have the ability to apply processes to specific Procurement requirements .
Organize and supervise preparation and submission bids and RFQs using the new etenders platform and be responsible for the preparation of the technical package and other related documents needed for submitting tenders, proposals and RFQs.
Assist with Cross Functional teams to pursue compliancy for products or services.
Ensureall statutory regulations are complied with in respect of the Procurement function.
To participate in Logistics and Inventory Management activities specifically including inventory management, purchase order generation, invoice and payment management, supplier management, Stock management at Point-Of-Use (POU).
Engage with stakeholders to lead commercially focused procurement processes which efficiently and effectively meet requirements Work with budget holders on Contract Management best practice, assisting the management and monitoring of deliverables/KPIs outlined in the contracts to ensure efficiency and maximize contract performance Operate, control and manage Kanban systems, consignment systems, efinancials material management system.
Implement and manage new Kanban locations.
Manage stock and non-stocked products throughout the organization and all processes and systems relating to requisitioning, provisioning, picking, issuing, receipting Eligibility Criteria: Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Procurement environment which has included tender management processes, use of etenders platform and contract management.
Participated in Tender Competition Execution process from beginning to end.
Experience in dealing with large volumes of complex data in a large organization.
Experience of managing competing priorities and deadlines, where the ability to analyse and interpret information to make decisions quickly and accurately is required, as relevant to the role.
Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the Procurement dept.
Apply a project management approach that delivers results in a logistics/procurement setting.
Nurture positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience of ICT Procurement Systems.
Data/Expenditure analysis including report generation and the production of metrics / KPIs.
Evaluation group management; team supervision or people management.
