Whatever your skills and experience, we’ll help you to thrive in our inclusive culture.**About the Role** The Export Market Service Owner will be based at our St. James’s Gate, Dublin location and will play a critical cross-functional role, providing flexibility to focus on the right customers, products, and processes at the right time. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers across global markets, production sites, and third-party freight service suppliers, representing the customer within Diageo and ensuring their needs are consistently met. You will also identify opportunities to challenge current ways of working, striving for simpler, faster, better solutions, and sharing these improvements with the wider team.**Key Responsibilities:**Develop and maintain effective working relationships with market personnel and service providers to ensure market requirements are met in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Partnership Agreements.Manage all freight processes to select appropriate services at optimal cost and identify any special pre-shipment requirements.We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has the skills and experience to handle exports, logistics and customer service with confidence and professionalism.Educated to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent, with 3rd level qualifications a plus, or equivalent experience in a customer service or shipping environment.Experience in exports, freight documentation and terminology.Strong customer relationship and supplier/vendor management skills.Knowledge of Customs & Excise requirements, market-specific legislation, and international shipping documentation. Understanding of International Trade processes and compliance requirements.Customer-service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed. Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail. Experience or understanding of Supply Chain processes, including planning, replenishment, make-to-order fulfilment, manufacturing, and materials/services supply, is desirable.Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere.
