As a Senior Software Test Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering highly available, industry‑leading products for global streaming services. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in application and back‑end testing, working with tools such as Charles Proxy, Postman, SQL and Linux, while driving innovation in automated and manual test development.
Key Skills and Experience
* Deep knowledge of Charles Proxy, Postman, SQL, Linux, and Jira.
* Hands‑on professional experience in test automation and manual testing.
* Strong troubleshooting skills throughout the technology stack.
* Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Google Test). Preference for unit testing frameworks such as MSTest or NUnit.
* Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
* Proficient with automated test script creation and automation frameworks.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience
* Understanding of dependency injection and software design patterns.
* BS/MS Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience with code‑coverage tools and procedures.
* Python scripting experience and cross‑platform development (Linux/Windows).
* Experience with Git.
* Deep operational knowledge of AWS and cost‑aware system design.
* Contributions to engineering culture, hiring, or organisational development.
Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long‑term in Letterkenny or hold an appropriate work visa.
