They are expanding internationally with the goal to accelerate the transition to cleaner and more efficient energy.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Market Operations Manager to lead and manage their market participation activities in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a key strategic role, responsible for ensuring the successful integration of new capacity into their demand response portfolio, optimising existing assets, and ensuring full compliance with market and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesOversee interactions with the Transmission System Operator (TSO), Distribution System Operator (DSO), market operator, and other key stakeholdersCoordinate the onboarding of new capacity and optimise existing resources in our demand response portfolioWork closely with commercial and field operations teams to ensure timely installation, commissioning, and testing of client equipmentPrepare and submit regulatory and market documentation, including capacity auction submissions and licence applicationsManage the registration, deregistration, and updates to electricity market unitsHandle pre-testing documentation and oversee compliance and dispatch testingSubmit detailed test reports to market/system operators and ensure successful market entry of tested unitsMonitor ongoing compliance with electricity market obligations and ensure that all assets are operating efficientlyLiaise across business units to support commercial goals and maintain operational excellenceRepresent our client in relevant industry forums and working groups, in Ireland and abroadPresent market developments and insights to internal stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentationsProvide support for the company’s wider regulatory, commercial, and strategic initiatives as neededWhat We’re Looking ForSignificant experience in the electricity sector, particularly in the Irish marketA strong understanding of electricity regulatory and policy frameworksExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to a range of audiencesSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independentlyDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirable ExperienceManagement of capacity contracts, including preparation of capacity bidsFamiliarity with grid code compliance or dispatch testingFinancial or commercial modelling related to market participationWhy applyCompetitive salary based on your skills and experienceHealthcare coverMatched pension contributions up to 5%€3,000 annual training budget plus 10 days of training leavePerformance-based bonusDoes it sound like you?
