Your new company
This well-established practice firm based in Co. Meath are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their firm. This role calls for strong experience working in a fast-paced role, ideally within the practice industry. You will work with over 100 ole traders and small to medium-sized client accounts on a regular basis. This role offers flexibility and includes hybrid working.
Applicants must have at least 3 years experience and strong working knowledge of Irish taxation and payroll laws.
Your new role
You will be tasked with duties such as :
* Compliance management
* Creditor and debtor statement processing
* Invoice processing
* Payment processing and allocation
* Reconciliations of accounts and banks
* Fixed asset management
* Regulatory reporting
* Assistance with taxation, payroll and other key areas within accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires :
* Minimum 3+ years experience, ideally within the practice industry
* Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
* Strong communication skills and fluent written and spoken English, as this role is client-facing.
* Ability to work well on your own initiative and manage multiple deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
What you'll get in return
This role is based in Co. Meath, they are centrally located and easily accessible from Dublin 15, other parts of North county Dublin, Kildare and Louth. They are open to a 4-day working week should this suit someone more. On a full-time basis, they operate a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. They are open to flexible working hours and also give a half day each Friday
