Role Overview We are seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team of professionals in North Dublin. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in managing a diverse book of business. Key Responsibilities Client Servicing & Portfolio Management Manage and service an existing portfolio of commercial clients, including Property, Liability and SME risks. Oversee the full renewal process gathering information, reviewing cover, negotiating with insurers, and issuing terms and supporting documentation in a timely manner. Handle mid-term adjustments (MTAs), assist with claims, and provide expert advice on suitable insurance products, cover options, and risk management. Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high service standards and fostering long-term loyalty. Provide timely responses to client queries and ensure issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. Keep client records, sales activities, and broker systems accurate, compliant, and up to date. New Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships and developing a proactive sales pipeline. Evaluate client needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions aligned with their risk profiles. Work toward achieving agreed new business, renewal, and retention targets. Attend client meetings and site visits with management, if needed. Market Engagement & Insurer Liaison Negotiate effectively with insurers to secure favourable terms and competitive premiums. Stay informed on market trends, product developments, and changes in insurer appetite or service levels, and share insights with management. Compliance & Professional Standards Adhere to all regulatory requirements including MCC, CPC, AML/TF, and Fitness & Probity standards. Ensure up-to-date CPD compliance and maintain professional knowledge and qualifications. Follow company procedures and compliance policies Ensure full disclosure of any relevant issues in line with regulatory requirements. Internal Collaboration & Contribution Represent the company professionally in all client and insurer interactions. Experience and Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in a commercial insurance role Minimum Qualification: Commercial CIP or Grandfathered Full compliance with Central Bank of Irelands Minimum Competency Code and CPD requirements Strong technical knowledge of all insurance products Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment Excellent communication, time management and attention to detail.
