Avista is a progressive organisation, providing a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in various locations across 3 Regions. The organisation is looking for Candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a Person Centered, Community Based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

RELIEF CONTRACT
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

· Be a Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration and R.N.I.D qualification essential
· Experience of supporting childrens with complex needs ranging from behavioural support needs to high nursing needs.
· Understanding of the role as a Mandated person and responsibilities under Childrens First Legislation.
· Knowledge and experience of promoting child development for children with complex needs.
· Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
· Knowledge of a person-centred planning and HIQA & Tusla guidelines.
· To adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best live and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
