Your role and responsibilities
As a Graduate Consultant at IBM, you will embark on an exciting career journey as you build strong technical and consulting skills.
You will become familiar with IBM's organisation, our solutioning processes, and how we work with clients to address their most complex business and technology challenges.
Collaboration with leading experts from across IBM and our partner ecosystem provides hands-on exposure to real project challenges and best-practice solution design and delivery.
In this environment you will develop a clear understanding of how technologies including AI, automation, security, cloud, business application and data analytics solutions are delivered, and how they create measurable business value.
Working directly with client teams deepens your understanding of how modern technologies are architected, delivered and scaled across organisations.

This role requires regular travel to clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, so candidates must have the legal right to work and travel within these regions without restriction.
This role requires flexibility in working patterns, including up to five days per week on-site, either at our Dublin office or at client locations across Ireland, the UK, and occasionally Europe.
Be on track for, or have achieved, a 2:1 grade in a technology focused discipline.
Graduates from other fields are welcome with a demonstrated interest in technology and AI.
Think logically and analytically, approach problems with structure and curiosity.
Communicate clearly and confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Be motivated to understand how modern technology—including AI—solves real business challenges.
Work effectively and proactively in teams, demonstrate a positive attitude, and thrive in collaborative environments.
Have some experience in programming, data tools or an understanding of basic IT concepts.
Demonstrate awareness of cybersecurity principles and good technology practices.
Available to commence full-time employment with expected start dates in September or November.
Our selection process includes online screening followed by mandatory face to face interviews and group assessment activities, held at an IBM office in Dublin.
