Our client is a Civil and Structural engineering consultancy practice with extensive experience in public and private sector projects across sectors such as educational, infrastructural, conservation, refurbishment, commercial, residential, and industrial developments.
This role is suitable for candidates with experience in Irish Civil & Structural Consultancy who are interested in developing their careers in major projects (€10-€100 million).
This is an exciting opportunity to transition from design to Project Engineer, leading and managing your own projects from feasibility to handover under supervision.
Requirements
* 5 years of relevant Structural building project experience in a C&S Consultancy (Residential, Commercial, Educational, Health, Leisure, Industrial) in Ireland
* At or approaching Chartered Engineer Status (or equivalent)
* Experience and competence in structural design to Eurocode Standards for structural buildings including Reinforced Concrete, Precast Concrete, Structural Steelwork, Masonry, and Timber Structures, including Loading Eurocode
* Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations
* Experience with structural modelling software such as Tekla, TEDDS Fastrack, Robot
* Excellent knowledge of BC(A)R, especially in roles involving C&S Ancillary design
* Ability to design and manage civil and infrastructural projects from feasibility and planning stages to completion
