Eir business talent is currently seeking applicants for a Power Platform Specialist. This is a permanent position located in Co Cavan. This is a hybrid role (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday onsite).
Role Overview
As a Power Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components such as Power Apps and Power Automate. The role involves understanding the business and its challenges, designing solutions and providing functionality to address identified use cases as well as providing suitable documentation. You may need to work outside regular business hours for go-live activities or critical incidents, performing system upgrades, testing, deploying new features, or resolving production issues. Flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work are essential.
Ideally you will be highly numerate, have strong background experience with Power Platform, building both Model Driven and Canvas Apps, have experience building Flows in Power Automate, and accessing data in Dataverse.
Key Responsibilities
In-house design and development of Power Platform solutions
Supporting junior developer(s)
Documentation of new and existing solutions
Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years IT experience with Power Platform, utilizing PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
Copilot Studio experience advantageous but not essential.
Solid working knowledge of project processes, strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels with business and IT teams.
Business systems analysis and support experience.
Experience with Power Platform solutions with multiple integrations, such as APIs, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Azure.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Solid understanding of Power App development best practices.
Experience deploying Power App solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing access controls and governance policies.
Demonstrable passion for technology and a proven track record in Power Platform.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
