About the Role
As an Electrical Pre-construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the technical and design coordination aspects of projects during the pre-construction phase. This is a strategic and design-focused role that requires strong electrical contracts management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions
* Work with design partners to develop compliant and competitive designs
* Coordinate electrical design elements to ensure integration and efficiency
* Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leading communication with design teams and specialist supply chain partners
* Review all drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission for comments or approvals
* SUPPORT CONTRACTS MANAGERS AND PROCUREMENT TEAMS TO ENSURE ALL PURCHASES MEET SPECIFICATION AND DRAWING REQUIREMENTS
* Liaise with specialist subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid submissions are fully compliant
What You'll Need to Succeed
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical contracts management or a similar technical role
* A strong understanding of electrical installations and current regulations
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues
* Leadership and motivational abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
