Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Conference Manager to lead our team in a Hotel property.
* Manage the daily operation of the Conference Department.
* Coordinate and prepare function rooms for events.
* Communicate updates/changes/requests to the Event Coordinator.
* Assist the Sales, Events Team, and other management with event-related tasks.
* Stay updated on menus and pricing, identifying new business opportunities.
* Organize promotional events and ensure guest satisfaction.
* Liaise with other departments to attend to guest requests efficiently.
* Maintain checklists and information for maintenance standards.
* Foster good team relations and train staff to desired levels.
Requirements:
* Experience in event management.
* Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills.
* Knowledge of Food and Beverage staff training, customer service, and etiquette.
* Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the team.
* Attention to detail and desire to exceed guests' expectations.
* Highly organized with task prioritization abilities.
