This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven buying professional to take ownership of the Textiles and Household and Seasonal categories, shaping product ranges, building strong supplier partnerships, and driving margin performance within a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.

Negotiating supplier agreements, pricing structures, rebates, and promotional funding to maximise profitability.
Identifying new sourcing opportunities while managing and strengthening existing supplier relationships.
Conducting competitor benchmarking and market analysis to inform pricing, product, and range decisions.
Planning seasonal ranges, promotional calendars, and key trading periods to drive sales and category performance.
Managing stock levels to ensure strong product availability while minimising risk on seasonal and slow-moving lines.
Monitoring supplier performance, service levels, and product quality standards.
Reviewing sales, margin, and stock data regularly to drive corrective action and optimise category performance.
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned categories.
Requirements for this Buyer job include: Minimum 2 years' experience in a buying or procurement role within retail or a related sector.
Third-level qualification in Business, Retail, Procurement or a related discipline.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to deliver commercial results.
Demonstrated experience in range reviews and category optimisation to drive sales growth.
Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to manage stock and margin budgets effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver against targets.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
