About Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation
Founded in 1993, Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation funds, provides, develops, and supports palliative care services for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Mayo and Roscommon. We built and fund two state-of-the-art hospices that provide a seven-day palliative care service in both counties. We also operate 12 Mayo Roscommon Hospice charity shops which are integral to the operation of our foundation. Our work is driven by our values of

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and highly organised
Marketing Manager
to lead and deliver all marketing activities across the Foundation. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives that drive donations, increase engagement, and strengthen our brand presence locally and nationally. You will work closely with fundraising, operations, and service teams, and manage relationships with outsourced suppliers to ensure campaigns and communications are delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
* Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned to organisational goals and fundraising targets.
* Create and manage integrated campaigns to promote events, appeals, and initiatives.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
* Coordinate marketing and promotional activity across the 12 Mayo Roscommon Hospice shops.
Campaign & Fundraising Support
* Design and deliver marketing collateral, fundraising decks, and presentation materials.
* Support fundraising events with promotional strategies, PR outreach, and donor engagement communications.
* Manage seasonal and national campaigns such as Sunflower Days and Coffee Mornings.
Digital Marketing & Communications
* Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement for the foundation activity/ initiatives and shop promotion.
* Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Maintain and optimise the Foundation's website for user experience, and conversion.
Donor & Database Management
* Oversee donation management processes to ensure accurate tracking, acknowledgment, and reporting.
* Manage the donor database, ensuring data accuracy and segmentation for targeted campaigns.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
* Manage relationships with external suppliers including graphic designers, PR agencies, photographers/videographers, and advertising partners.
* Liaise with local and national media to support PR activity.
Reporting & Analysis
* Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
* Track KPIs and provide insights to inform future marketing activity.
Skills & Experience
* 4–5 years' experience in a marketing role. Non-profit or community sector experience would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
* Proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Strong skills in social media management, email marketing platforms, and website CMS.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
* Experience in managing databases and CRM systems.
* Creative design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) are desirable.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience managing external suppliers and agency partners.
* Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices is an advantage.
