We are hiring a Staff Nurse for a nursing home in Wicklow, Ireland.
Responsibilities Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
Maintain the highest standards of nursing care within the home and ensure all staff carry out their duties effectively.
Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, respect, and as individuals.
Build personal and meaningful relationships with residents, relatives, and visitors, offering appropriate support at all times.
Oversee all admissions to the home, ensuring correct procedures are followed and all required documentation is completed.
Complete all relevant documentation to the required standards.
Uphold professional standards in line with the An Bord Altranais Code of Professional Conduct and understand the implications of all An Bord Altranais guidance for nursing practice.
Maintain clear, accurate, and compliant records in accordance with legislation.
Ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures for the control, administration, and custody of all medications.
Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards and actively participate in the inspection process.
