Overview
An Opportunity for a Site Foreman to join the Life Science team in Dublin 15. The Site Manager is responsible to the Project Manager and works closely with the QS. They are responsible for the management of the on-site programme in respect of delivery, workmanship, and safety. The Site Manager ensures that adequate and proper labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor's resources are available to meet the requirements of the contract.

Responsibilities
* Establish and monitor key stage programmes
* Set up the site
* Active involvement in HSEQS management on our projects and challenge working practices on site and across our business to ensure continuous improvement in line with our Zero philosophy
* Take possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activities
* Apply for temporary service connections
* Implement the Project Execution Plan
* Interpret drawings and specifications and communicate directions to site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Close out all issues raised by safety, quality, and environmental reports and audits
* Inform the QS of any matter for which extra payment may be due or additional costs are involved
* Be aware of the conditions of the main contract and the conditions attendances of our contract with Subcontractors
Experience
* Pharmaceutical project experience
* Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with colleagues, clients, and third parties, in a warm and persuasive way both formally and informally and able to alter style and method to suit the audience
* Proven track record of at least ten years within a construction management environment with a similar National/Regional Contractor, with a strong track record of high HSEQS standards
* Strong analytical skills
* Organised with good time management and capable of proactive planning
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all the trades required on site, the codes of practice relating to them, and the requirements for them to be able to carry out required works
Qualifications
* Working towards an academic and/or a professional industry-related qualification
* CSCS for Managers, SMSTS, CDM/PSCS Awareness, BBS, & S5 Q10 internal workshops
* First Aid at work Certificate
* Lifting Supervisor
* Driving Licence
* Degree or Diploma in a Construction related Subject is desirable
