The Purpose of the Role:
To raise awareness and enhance the profile of the client’s brands within a specific territory by achieving key result areas and targets.
This will be achieved through stock management, order auditing, and merchandising, thereby increasing product availability, promotional compliance, and point-of-sale accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to a defined retail call file.
2. Monitor product availability.
3. Increase distribution and availability within stores by implementing national and local planograms and promotions.
4. Record data accurately and submit daily updates promptly.
5. Understand and identify customer needs.
6. Communicate effectively in-store and with colleagues.
7. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
8. Follow the call sequence and activity brief, making necessary changes in every outlet.
9. Recognize objectives and tailor store activities to achieve them.
10. Establish priorities, plan, organize, and manage time efficiently.
11. Take responsibility for personal development and improvement.
12. Plan how to achieve personal targets and contribute to team success.
13. Develop a plan to meet client targets and KPIs.
14. Manage the territory call file and journey plan efficiently.
15. Provide feedback on competitor activities.
16. Generate new ideas and improve working methods.
17. Strive to achieve the highest standards of performance for customers.
18. Operate efficiently to complete all tasks effectively.
19. Perform any other duties as instructed by your line manager.
Minimum Requirements:
* Full clean driving license.
* Good understanding of the grocery market and interest in consumer activities.
* Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and customers.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially listening skills.
* Proactive approach and initiative.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and internet use.
* Attention to detail.
