Swim Instructor Glenroyal Hotel Leisure Club The 4 star Glenroyal Hotel Leisure Club is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Swim Instructor to join our dedicated Leisure team.

Role Overview: As a Swim Instructor at the Glenroyal Leisure Club, you will play a key role in delivering high quality swim instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities.
Main Responsibilities To deliver swim lesson programmes to a consistently high standard in a fun, engaging, and enjoyable way Demonstrate correct techniques and methods Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary to improve their skills and monitor their progress Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations within the Leisure Centre Plan routines, select appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants' capabilities and limitations Evaluate individual's abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements Skills Experience Requirements: A minimum of 1 year working as a Swim Instructor in a Leisure Centre or a Gym is essential Fully qualified and certified Swim teacher - Level 12 (Cert. in date) Valid Lifeguard certification Certified in Occupational First Aid (Cert in date) Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Ability to work on own initiative Must be eligible to work in Ireland Must be fluent in written and spoken English Must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week, including weekdays We offer great team benefits including : 1 paid volunteering day per year Free onsite parking Complimentary gym membership Free tea/coffee from Shoda Cafe on shift Paid birthday leave each year Additional annual leave days based off length of service Daily meals and snacks in canteen Internal/external training provided Staff discount across hotel amenities Staff canteen, changing room shower facilities If this sounds like you please contact us today
