About the Role
As a Solar Sales Consultant, you’ll educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, provide tailored solutions, and guide them through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement. You’ll work directly with customers, providing expert advice, performing initial site assessments, and delivering tailored solar proposals and designs that demonstrate financial and environmental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and follow up on leads through field visits, referrals, and inbound inquiries
Conduct site assessments/consultations and present customized solar proposals and designs
Educate customers on solar technology, financial incentives, and environmental benefits
Close sales and manage customer relationships through installation
Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
Maintain accurate records in CRM system and manage your sales pipeline professionally.
Attend residential-focused marketing events and local community shows when required.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and excellent customer experience post-sale.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in sales B2C or residential (solar or renewable energy experience is a plus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Full driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland
Previous experience selling solar PV or energy-efficiency products to homeowners is ideal.
Familiarity with SEAI grants and Ireland's residential energy landscape.
