Field Service Specialist
Our company is seeking a skilled Field Service Specialist to provide on-site technical support to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site technical support to customers
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
* Liaise with other engineers and technicians as required
* Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues at client sites
* Install and configure servers, computer equipment, and peripherals
* Deal with customer issues effectively and efficiently
* Communicate daily with dispatch regarding on-site visits and customer updates
* Document all onsite information
* Update ticketing system after each call with relevant information
Requirements:
* A degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience in a similar customer-facing role in the IT sector with strong problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Desktop OS, desktop application configurations, troubleshooting, etc.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work face-to-face with people
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in speaking and writing English essential
* Ability to lift and transport equipment
* Mobility to access various office areas, including under desks and in server/comms rooms
* Hold a full, clean Irish/EU driving license
* Available to work out of hours – evenings and weekends on a rostered basis
