Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (FTC 12m)required for a global consulting business in Dublin city centre.The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the operating and ongoing maintenance of the Information Technology and Datacentre infrastructure across the enterprise.This is aFixed Term Contract role for 12m, 3 days in the office /2 days remote in Dublin city centreKeyResponsibilitiesSME for Server Compute, Active Directory, Storage, Virtualisation and key infrastructure management technologies, methodologies and standards.Plan, implement and maintain equipment within the datacentresTroubleshoot performance issues within the infrastructure and cloud services environmentDevelop and maintain technical documentationSupport and deploy cloud solutions (Azure)Develop automated, scalable cloud solutions implementing CI\CD pipelines and industry standard automation technologies incorporating IaaCPerform scheduled operational tasks including monitoring performance and capacity metrics across the infrastructureRequirements:University Degree in Computer Science and/or experience in an IT Infrastructure roleStrong and proven skill level in scripting technologies, MS PowerShell, Ansible and BicepStrong knowledge of Anti-Virus solutions, MS Defender, VMWare and MS Hyper-VKnowledge of monitoring solutions (SolarWinds and MS SCOM)Professional certifications: HPE ASE or Master ASE certification, MCSE or Azure certificationRemuneration:Salary up to €80-90K p.a.
