The Role;
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our Industrial Gases group where you will be working as one of our Bulk Gas Electrical/Mechanical Technicians at our site in Leixlip, Co Kildare. Our Industrial Gases group delivers a wide range of highly niche solutions to customers in a variety of industries, providing safe, reliable and cost-effective equipment and systems. For our larger customers we design and construct gas storage facilities on site.
The Technician will be providing engineering, operations, and maintenance support, with a strong health and safety focus and focus on electrical/electronic technical experience,
Duties Include;
* Day to day operation & maintenance of equipment
* Responsible for input & alignment to site safety, to include BSP (Basic Safety Process) compliance, LSO (Online) training compliance.
* Participate in (CPS) investigations relating to equipment failures, work with site management/Global Support Services to determine root causes of failure, and the recommendation of appropriate solutions to reduce reoccurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.
* Provide hands on & customer support as required for resolution of hardware/Software field problems as they occur including bulk gas, instrument, electrical, mechanical and analytical equipment problems. Raise as appropriate to site management for further support.
* Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve overall equipment Up-Time.
* Maintain flawless execution, paying close attention to detail and implement work to the highest standard.
* Customer interface: Attend daily Module meetings. Module Monthly SIT meeting, Support Audits.
* Has good understanding of the principles of work processes and data management.
* Strong influencing skills.
* Good organisation and problem-solving skills.
* Must demonstrate respect and professionalism when interacting with others.
* Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with customers, third party vendors and also employees at all levels of the organisation.
As the Bulk Gas Technician, you already are or have;
* Professional Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics diploma or related apprenticeship training- required.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
* Experienced in trouble shooting techniques required.
* Electrical and Electronic technical engineering experience required.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications literate required.
* Good interpersonal skills; proficient communication skills, both written and verbal -required.
* SCADA and PLC experience preferred.
* Good knowledge of Bulk Gas plant equipment preferred.
* Experience in the following areas: MOC, TWI, SWIMS, preferred.
