Ecommerce & EPOS Assistant
My client is a long-standing retail business with 4 stores in Galway City, a mix of ladies, mens, and childrenswear fashions, homewares, furnishings, gifts and more
This is a lovely entry level role for someone who wants to be part of a busy head office team, and for this job you will work closely with the different department buyers.
As Ecommerce Administrator you will be responsible for updating the website and back-office EPOS system with all the product information such as the image, description and pricing.
A small part of this role is processing the online orders – picking the order items from the shop floor and stockroom.
I am looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, is enthusiastic and has excellent attention to detail to ensure all information posted is accurate.
Good writing skills would be a bonus to write eye-catching product descriptions.
Responsibilities for the job of Online Content & EPOS Assistant
1. Oversee and maintain the online and EPOS catalogues across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear
2. Coordinate with the buyers to ensure product listings are accurate and consistent across platforms
3. Upload product information including pricing, descriptions and related items for cross-selling
4. Upload new products, images, videos and other digital content to the online store
5. Set up and manage promotional campaigns on the website
6. Handle the processing and fulfilment of online customer orders
7. Support daily communication with our external online web developer
8. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to deliver online promotions and sales campaigns
