We are looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our team. At Millbury Nursing home we place our Residents at the heart of every decision we make. The Receptionist role is vital to the success of our organization as this person will interact with residents and their families. We are looking for a genuine friendly and organised person who is also available to work weekends.
Please note this is not a Summer Position, this is a Permanent Part Time Position.
The Receptionist at Millbury Nursing Home's main responsibility is to meet and greet visitors upon arrival and answer incoming telephone calls. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant phone manner, typing ability and familiarity with Word and Outlook are required. You must be reliable, punctual, organised and have demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a very busy environment.
* Proficient use of word, email, internet, excel, power point and photocopier.
* Completing paperwork involved in admitting and discharging Residents.
* Imputing residents' details and ensuring files all are up to date.
* Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
* Be comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environment.
This position reports to the DON/ADON/PIC
