Structural Engineering Expertise
The role of a Structural Engineer involves designing and analysing structures to ensure they are safe and meet building codes.
This includes creating detailed designs for buildings, bridges, and other structures, as well as conducting site inspections and collaborating with other disciplines.
* Undertake project delivery tasks, which may include calculations, drawings, sketches, and reports
* Work with CAD/Revit Technicians for production of projects drawings
* Lead design meetings, site meetings and carry out site inspections
* Mentor and guide graduate /junior engineers
* Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines and with staff internally
* Maintain client contact and ensure that project delivery meets the client's objectives and requirements
* Minimum 3 years' broad post qualification experience in a competitive working environment
* Focused on achieving IStructE chartered status with 5 years post qualification experience
* A client-focused approach with effective time-management skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Effective communicator and problem solver
* Ability to liaise with members of design / construction teams
