My client are seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager
to join our dynamic team in Dublin, supporting major
data centre and industrial facility builds
across Ireland and Europe.
This is a critical role within our organisation, responsible for overseeing strategic procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
You will play a key role in project delivery, working closely with project managers, design teams, commercial leads, and external stakeholders to ensure our supply chain supports high-quality, on-time, and on-budget construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement processes for data centre and industrial construction projects.
Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies in alignment with project timelines and budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive sourcing.
Prepare and manage tender packages, supplier agreements, and contracts.
Collaborate with project and commercial teams to forecast procurement needs.
Maintain compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum
5 years' experience
in procurement within the
construction industry
, ideally with exposure to
data centre or industrial projects
.
Proven ability to manage high-value procurement packages and complex supply chains.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
Knowledge of EU procurement regulations and construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC, NEC) is an advantage.
