Description:
* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors at all company sites.
* Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular site audits, both formal and informal, to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. You will also be responsible for conducting necessary inspections and mentoring as outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS).
* You will work closely with the SHEQ Lead & Senior Management on HSE-related issues and implement goals that promote a safe working environment.
* In addition to your technical skills, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
