Role Overview
Reports to: Person in Charge
Contract type: Full-time
Working week: Average of 42 hours per week, day and occasional night shifts required
Location of work: Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Role Responsibilities
Facilitate and encourage decision‑making, independence, and personal development.
Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health, and appearance.
Work in a person‑centred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.
Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
Administer and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.
Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.
Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.
Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 5 qualification in Social or Health Care Studies.
Hold a full Irish driving licence (to drive a company car when required).
Prior experience in social care or healthcare desirable but not essential.
Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
Excellent English essential (verbal and written).
Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
