My client, a turnkey engineering solutions company with a manufacturing facility in Tipperary, have an excellent opportunity for a Cost Engineer to join their expanding team.
As a Cost Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their project development and implementation process.
You will work closely with the Project Owners to support the delivery of projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of our engineering projects.
The role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Provide accurate budget forecasts and advise on cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project expenditure, variations, and value engineering opportunities to maximise cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Carry out commercial reviews of tenders prior to submission for engineering projects.
Prepare and administer contract documentation in line with project requirements.
Prepare and submit applications for payment for projects.
Support Project Owners in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as required to support effective communication and project outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
5 - 10 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role or similar, ideally within a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of contract frameworks (e.g. NEC, FIDIC or equivalent).
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, Project cost management tools.
