About The Role
We are seeking a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join the Corporate Team, to support the corporate, compliance and governance needs of a fast-scaling international company. This is a broad, hands‑on role reporting directly and working closely with the Co-Founder & Chief Corporate Officer. The role will support a multi‑company structure that currently operates across Ireland, Portugal and Romania, with planned entity expansion to additional jurisdictions, including the US and Colombia, over the next 12 months. The role is well suited to an Irish qualified Solicitor with a strong corporate and commercial law background (3–5 years PQE) who has an interest in business and enjoys variety and responsibility. Previous experience in the industry, or B Corp certification, is not required. It will particularly appeal to candidates seeking a remote‑first working environment and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility within a growing international business.
What you'll be doing
Corporate & Governance
Support the legal management of corporate structures across Ireland and international subsidiaries
Assist with company secretarial, compliance, reporting and governance obligations as the group scales
Liaise with external legal advisors in each jurisdiction (no prior jurisdictional experience required)
Commercial & Contractual Support
Draft, review and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts, including:
Client and supplier agreements
Employment‑related contracts
Partner and vendor arrangements
Compliance, Data Protection & Employment
Provide strong support on GDPR and data protection compliance
Assist with the rollout of training and awareness programmes across the business
Support employment law matters in collaboration with HR and external advisors
Engage with government bodies and stakeholders (e.g. Enterprise Ireland, grant‑related matters)
Sustainability & B Corp
Support the group’s journey toward B Corp re‑certification (target 2026)
Assist with entity‑level compliance and documentation required for re‑certification
Contribute to sustainability and governance initiatives across the group
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Essential
Qualified Solicitor with a background in Commercial / Corporate law in Ireland
Minimum 3–5 years PQE
Experience supporting tender submissions, procurement processes or RFP responses
Strong grounding in commercial contracts
Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles
Interest in Employment Law
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a diverse team across Legal, HR, Finance, Ops and Leadership
Desirable
Interest in business operations, scaling companies and learning about new industries
Interest in tax, sustainability, and corporate governance
Experience working with or managing external advisors
Curiosity, pragmatism and a strong “doer” mindset
Ability to work very well with others, strong interpersonal skills
