Road Design Engineer

We are actively looking to recruit a Road DesignEngineer with 5+ years’ of experience for our client. You will join an award winning, civil and structural engineering consultancy. The successful Road Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of a range of Traffic projects with support from the senior management team. You will work on challenging projects whilst having a good work life balance. Projects include Dublin Bus routes, Cork Bus Routes, Luas, Traffic Impact Assessments. Sample Projects:
* Roads, bridges, traffic and transportation
* Traffic related projects with the NTA & local County Councils (Road safety schemes, road layout/junction improvement schemes, pedestrian & cyclist facilities, pavement schemes, bus corridors, traffic impact assessments, national road schemes, travel plans & feasibility studies)
Requirements:
* Must have experience working on Civil/Traffic/Transport projects.
* The ideal Road Design Engineer will have experience in Traffic Impact Assessments and Feasibility Studies.
* Experience in Traffic related reports and Traffic Analysis software such as: VISSIM, SATURN, Linsig etc is beneficial.
* Good communication and organisation skills.
* The successful Road Design Engineer must be fluent in English.
Location:
* The successful Road Design Engineer can be based in either their South Dublin or North Dublin offices with hybrid working.
Salary:
* Excellent Salary circa €50K - €60K+ doe + excellent benefits.
