About the Role Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will serve as both a strategic advisor and operational support, partnering with departments and senior leadership to provide financial insight, planning and performance analysis.

For You: Location: Dublin 7 Contract: Permanent, Salary: 70,000 - €80,000 Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner Business Partnering & Strategic Support Build strong relationships with directorates and committees to support strategic and financial planning.
Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to inform decision-making and policy initiatives.
Prepare business cases for new projects and advise on cost-benefit and risk assessments.
Support long-term financial planning and scenario modelling.
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Lead budgeting cycles across assigned business areas.
Monitor financial performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.
Deliver timely, tailored monthly management accounts to various stakeholders.
Assist with procurement processes and documentation Reporting, Audit & Compliance Prepare performance dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain robust internal controls and support audit processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
Manage internal audit programmes and assist in identifying financial process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Act as a trusted advisor to business units on financial matters.
Promote financial literacy and ownership across departments.
Communicate complex financial information in a clear and engaging way for non-financial audiences.
The Ideal Finance Business Partner Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
At least 2 years experience in a finance business partnering or similar role.
Previous work in not-for-profit, public sector, education or membership organisations is desirable.
Proven ability in financial planning, analysis, and supporting senior-level decision-making.
Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge (e.g.
Sage, SAP, Oracle).
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build lasting relationships.
