You will leverage your network and expertise to secure new clients, expand existing relationships, and contribute directly to the firm's profitability and market presence.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on high-value M&E projects.Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by expanding the firm's client base and services.Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm, identifying market trends and new areas for growth.Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of MEP Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers, fostering a high-performance, commercially-focused culture.Project Oversight: Provide senior-level oversight on key MEP projects, ensuring commercial and delivery excellence.What You'll BringExtensive Experience: A robust track record of successfully managing complex MEP projects within the Irish construction market. Experience gained from a large consultancy is highly desirable.M&E Expertise: Deep, technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems and their associated costs.Commercial Acumen: Exceptional commercial awareness, with a keen understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and profitability.Networking Skills: An established network of key clients and industry contacts in the Dublin and wider Irish market.Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team and influence key decisions.Qualifications: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
