Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Bray, Co. Wicklow
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern:
Rotating 2 week pattern of Week 1 Monday to Thursday 7am - 15:00 pm Friday 7am - 12:40 pm and Week 2 Monday - Wednesday 14:40 pm - 10:00 am Thursday 14:40 pm - 23:50 pm.
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Bray, Co. Wicklow. As an Inspection Finishing Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the rolls of paper are wound to specified lengths on the required core.
Responsibilities:
* Loading of specified master reels according to job bag and reel identification labels.
* Printing of inner and outer core and any other customer required traceability label requirements.
* Selection and fixing of correct mandrel according to customer specification.
* Sourcing of correct core size according to customer specification.
* Setting of blades to slit reels to the relevant width, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
* Use of AVT inspection to ensure removal of any substandard quality print within the master reels.
* Maintaining the quality of the slitting of the finished reels throughout the run.
* Ensuring all reels are fully labelled according to both Company and customer requirements.
* Ensuring the line clearance procedure is thoroughly followed after each job and line clearance join retained each time.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working within a team with a good standard of communication.
* Educated to secondary level (leaving certificate) or equivalent qualification.
