We are seeking a Homecare Coordinator to join our team at the Rosemary Day Centre in Tralee, North Kerry. As part of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, you will work closely with people affected by dementia and their carers to provide high-quality home care services.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating home care services across Tralee, assessing client needs, assigning staff, and reviewing these assignments regularly.
* Experience working with people with dementia, older adults, or individuals with intellectual disabilities is essential.
* A third-level qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
* Good communication, organisational, and administration skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional skills in Human Resource Management, Financial management, Quality standards, and Risk Management are advantageous. A full driving licence is also essential.
Requirements:
This is a permanent contract working 18 hours per week. Salary will be commensurate with the care sector and dependent on relevant experience.
