We're seeking a hands-on, strategic Technical Manager to lead our technical operations at a state-of-the-art moulding facility in Ireland. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of precision manufacturing, sustainability, and smart factory evolution.
What You'll Do
As our Technical Manager, you will:
* Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across maintenance, tool setting, automation, and process engineering
* Drive excellence in injection moulding, robotics, vision inspection systems, and automated technologies
* Manage safety and compliance programmes (ISO 13485, ISO 14001, cGMP), promoting a culture of quality and safety across the plant
* Oversee facilities and utilities management, ensuring optimal site operations
* Collaborate with equipment and tooling vendors on new technologies, commissioning, and upgrades
* Play a key role in our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives, sustainability goals, and smart factory development

What You Bring
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Polymer Engineering (or related field)
* 5+ years' experience in a senior technical or engineering leadership role in moulding or regulated manufacturing
* In-depth knowledge of automation, robotics, vision systems, and injection moulding technologies
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage technical projects, and work in ISO 13485 / cGMP environments
* Experience managing plant facilities, equipment vendors, and safety programmes
* Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Lean principles, and continuous improvement
* (Bonus) Six Sigma, PMP, or Lean certification
