A large innovation and technology business in Swords is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant for a temporary position with an immediate start. The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Managing Director plays a pivotal role in enabling the effective leadership, governance, and operational performance of this lively business. The EA provides high-level executive support to the MD, acting as a trusted partner who ensures the smooth running of the MD's office, supports strategic priorities, and enables effective engagement with senior stakeholders across daa, partner airports, and the wider innovation ecosystem.Operating in a fast-paced, innovation-led environment, the role requires exceptional organisational capability, discretion, judgement, and the ability to anticipate needs while managing complex and competing priorities.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive executive support to the Managing Director, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and preparation of agendas and briefing materials.Act as a central point of coordination between the MD and senior stakeholders across the Group, regulators, and external partners.Support the MD in managing strategic priorities, tracking actions, and following up on key initiatives and commitments.Prepare presentations, briefing notes, reports, and correspondence for internal and external engagements.Arrange meetings, agenda planning, paper coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking.Assist with planning and coordination of quarterly and annual business cycles, including strategy reviews, operational planning, and performance reporting.Manage communications on behalf of the MD, ensuring timely, professional, and appropriately prioritised responses.Provide support on specific projects or initiatives as required, including research, analysis, and coordination of inputs from multiple stakeholders.Act as a sounding board and trusted advisor to the MD on operational and organisational matters.Requirements:Significant experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting a senior executive (MD, CEO, or equivalent), ideally within a complex corporate or innovation-led environment.Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level documentation and presentations.High levels of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Excel).
