Summary of Role:
The Business Analyst will assist with a multi-stream server upgrade program, requiring 5-10 years of experience in project delivery and some planning expertise.
Ideal candidates will have exposure to infrastructure upgrade programs, either within banking or through external experience.
Key capabilities include customer relationship building, stakeholder management, delivering excellence, leadership, and inter-team coordination—both within the project and with other teams, third parties, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding endpoint devices and server technologies, including on-premises, virtual, and cloud environments (e.g., Windows, Linux, Azure, AWS).
* Supporting the business in assessing current capabilities, identifying change scope, and driving high-level and detailed business requirements.
* Analyzing and assessing the impact of proposed business changes on IT systems, working closely with application experts (both business and technical).
* Constructing workflow charts and diagrams to detail findings and identify areas for improvement.
* Specifying and modeling requirements for stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness.
* Creating, maintaining, and interpreting complex data, presenting it in an understandable manner.
* Preparing and maintaining project artifacts such as Statements of Work (SoWs), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), and their repositories, tracking sign-offs, decisions, and project updates.
* Managing operational risk reporting, including updates, risk communication, and action plans.
* Manipulating Excel spreadsheets, extracting and converting data, creating macros, and reporting via pivot tables.
Experience and Skills:
* 5+ years of IT business analyst experience in the banking domain.
* Strong analytical, interpretive, and financial management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
* Hands-on experience with tools like Confluence, SharePoint, Teams.
* Solid understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and infrastructure upgrade products.
* Experience in change management.
* Experience with Windows/Linux server currency upgrade programs.
