Store Manager – Mallow, Cork
Excel Recruitment is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's busy store in Mallow Cork.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-first approach, and a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence. Our clients store has a busy forecourt, store, deli and fast food outlet- we are seeking strong Store Managers for this position.
Salary: €50k – €55K
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling, and staff supervision
2. Lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
3. Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure shelves are always stocked
4. Handle rostering, training, and performance management for staff members
5. Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
6. Monitor store performance and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
8. Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years` experience in a dynamic retail management position
9. Strong people management and leadership skills
10. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
11. A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing costs
12. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
13. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
